Dear Franco,

I can’t tell you how much we all enjoyed your music and magic last Friday evening at the Hampton Society Christmas party. You struck exactly the right note (not a pun!) and contributed enormously to the atmosphere and to the whole success of the party. The music was absolutely perfect for the occasion and you dazzled us with your magic. Thank you very much for agreeing to play for us and for coming all the way from NW4, particularly when you had had to come to Hampton the night before as well. Perhaps you ought to become a resident here!
